Through this certificate program, you will learn the skills required to serve as a Lean Facilitator in the healthcare environment. The Lean method addresses all aspects of organizational performance–its culture, its people and its processes. In this course you will learn to embody Lean culture, train and develop Lean practitioners, and work with teams to optimize work and how it is performed. So, what is a the role of a facilitator? The role of facilitator is to develop, lead and mentor Lean teams as they establish or enhance an organizational Lean foundation. The facilitator works with leadership to set up an environment conducive to solving problems, collecting and evaluating data, eliminating waste and producing value. The principles, concepts and methods covered in this course will prepare you to support a culture of process excellence.
