P.A.C.E.® 2.0 Contact hour(s) A Kaizen event is a synergistic rapid improvement methodology focused on creating productive change by improving a process by the use of Lean tools. In this course, you will learn how to plan, prepare and execute a Kaizen Event with the team to eliminate defects and redesign a more efficient processes.

Kaizen is a term coined by the Lean transformation discipline to mean continuous improvement across all silos and all levels of staff. Kaizen, a Japanese word “Kaizen” is translated as change (“Kai”) for the better (“Zen”) refers to daily small improvements and adjustments that collectively add up to ground-breaking excellence. In this course we will learn a rapid improvement methodology focused on improving a process or family of processes within a short period of time. It allows laboratory teams of trained individuals to carry out improvements in a structured and innovative environment and reduce the potential for catastrophic chaos. An assignment is not required as a part of this course.

Interactive Work shop

Included in this course are scheduled Interactive Work Shops. These live virtual classrooms are instructor led and conducted to discuss tools, methodology, strategy and application of lessons to the live environment. The sessions are held and recorded for future viewing. Participation is encouraged.
